A leading auction house and art dealer in Greater London is seeking a Finance Analyst to support accounts receivable and treasury functions. The ideal candidate will prepare journal entries, support cashflow management, and provide financial reporting. Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting, 2-3 years of experience, and advanced Excel skills. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to process improvements and work closely within a global finance team.

As a Finance Analyst within the Sotheby’s global finance team, you will support the accounts receivable and treasury functions with detailed reporting and financial analysis.
The Finance Analyst will prepare routine journal entries relating to accounts receivable and financing activities, as well as contribute to the preparation of balance sheet reconciliations for review. Additionally, this role will support the Global Head of Cash Operations to produce regular reporting and to meet financial requirements. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting, financial analysis, and data management.
The ideal candidate can think analytically, autonomously, and has advanced Excel skills.
