Location: OL4 3NU, Oldham, Greater Manchester, North West, UK
FULL TIME Permanent after standard Probationary Period.
Dayshift – Monday to Thursday 8am‑4:30pm, Friday 8am‑2:30pm. £12.67ph – £14.04ph depending on experience.
Nightshift – Monday to Thursday 8pm‑8am. £15.57 – £18.05 depending on experience.
Rates of pay are dependent on skill and experience.
We are looking for a motivated individual with attention to detail and a positive working attitude to join our Quality Team. The role generally involves inspection of our manufactured product using our bespoke gauges, CMM, shadow graph and visual inspection for defects/contamination. The product is then passed off by the inspector before release to stores for delivery to our customers. Full training will be given for this role, which offers great career progression potential.
In this role you will carry out a range of tasks vital to the quality function of the company: final audit inspections of finished product before dispatch to the customer, ensuring any non‑compliant product is dealt with in a timely manner throughout the workshop in accordance with the applicable quality procedure, internal auditing of employees and processes against the audit plan, assistance in corrective actions, calibration, capability studies, and training in the use of metrology equipment. As part of the Quality team you will maintain daily control of the Final Audit area, emphasizing organisation, tidiness, and throughput. Report concerns to the Senior Quality Engineer, provide continuous feedback about shop‑floor problems, and participate in continuous improvement projects as requested.
