Overview

Role: Field Service Technician


Location: Oxfordshire (UK Travel Required)


Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 per annum

We’re looking for a skilled Field Service Technician to join a growing business that’s delivering the next of refuelling and storage infrastructure across the UK. This role is hands-on, varied, and offers the chance to work directly with cutting-edge technology driving the transition to cleaner energy.


Responsibilities


  • Install, commission, and validate refuelling units, compressors, and control systems

  • Carry out preventative and corrective maintenance to ensure system reliability

  • Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults with a safety-first approach

  • Provide customer-facing support, including training and technical guidance

  • Record detailed service activity, escalating key issues, and feeding into continuous product improvements


Qualifications


  • Proven experience in field service, commissioning, or electrical maintenance

  • Strong electrical expertise with solid mechanical knowledge

  • Background working with high-pressure gases, hazardous environments, or industrial plant (advantageous)

  • Ability to interpret and work from technical drawings and schematics

  • Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel nationwide, including occasional overnight stays
