A leading recruitment consultancy is looking for a Field Service Engineer to join their team. This role is home-based, covering regional patches across the UK. You will manage the maintenance and repair of waste compactors and bailers, with a basic salary of £35,000 to £40,000 and the potential to earn over £50,000 with added travel pay and overtime. Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Service/Maintenance Engineer working with heavy industrial machinery.
• Strong background in Hydraulics and Mechanical Engineering.
• Welding/Fabrication skills are highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Execute planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on hydraulic balers and compactors.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults.
• Conduct electrical and PLC diagnostics (training provided).
• Perform welding and fabrication during repairs.
