Our client is a well-established and successful company. They are looking for a Mobile Field Service Engineer to travel to their customers sites around surrounding regions the UK, to carry out repairs and maintain a variety of Forklift Trucks / FLTs / MHE / Material Handling Equipment that have been hired out by the company.
Job Description:
Your role will be to provide a professional, efficient & responsive service support to customers by means of maintaining and repairing materials handling equipment to the highest standard. You will always ensure you provide value for money for both the customer and the company.
Training for any skills gaps will be provided. Once trained, you will be based from home, with some travel to the local depot to collect supplies. You will be provided with a fully stocked service van. You will be expected to have your own personal tools, however jacks, slings, power tools, and drive sockets are provided as well as any specialist tools by the company. The van will be based at engineers home they are given the option to opt in or out of personal use following government guidelines.
This role would suit someone with previous experience in a similar role, such as a Hydraulics Engineer / Field Service Engineer / Forklift Truck Technician / FLT Engineer / HGV Technician / HGV Engineer / HGV Mechanic / Mechanical Fitter / Plant Fitter / Plant Mechanic / Field Service Technician.
Salary Details:
Standard hours of work: Monday to Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm (40 hours a week).
