The ideal candidate will have experience servicing electric vehicles or material handling equipment, strong customer-facing skills, and a full UK driver's license. Alexander James Recruiting is currently working with a well-established supplier of various types of electric vehicles and specialist lifting equipment who are looking for a new field-based service engineer to service their client base around the South East of England. With a competitive salary & overtime opportunity, this is a great opportunity for an experienced engineer from electric vehicles, material handling, sweepers or related sectors interested in a new role.
The company have a preference for an individual from a similar background either in electric vehicles or material handling background due to the requirements of the role. Given that they also supply cleaning equipment, they would also consider an individual from this sector as a possibility, as would individuals from other sectors with strong pneumatics experience. You will be able to work well on your initiative, have good customer facing skills and be willing to travel across the South East of England and further afield when required. It is also essential that you hold a full UK driver’s license.
Over 20 years old, the company are a well-established provider of various electric vehicles, materials handling and other specialist equipment. They provide various products to include road vehicles, multi passenger & pedestrian controlled vehicles. as well as other various handling products. With a well-established client base they now require an experienced Service Engineer to cover their client base across the South of England.
