Overview

Mobile Forklift Engineer – Field role covering the Northampton areas. Salary: up to £45,000+ OTE (including Van, Door-to-Door Pay, Enhanced Overtime Rates & Plenty of Overtime Available).


Responsibilities


  • Service, repair, and maintenance of Linde forklifts and other material handling equipment.

  • Travel to various customer locations to provide on‑site technical support.

  • Conduct preventative maintenance and essential check‑ups to keep fleet running smoothly.

  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues, ensuring equipment operates at peak efficiency.

  • Maintain accurate records, use IT equipment to place orders and update service history.


Qualifications


  • Experience as a vehicle technician, mechanical engineer, forklift technician, plant fitter, plant technician, or similar role.

  • Experience with plant equipment, powered access equipment, agricultural machinery, motor vehicles or industrial cleaners is highly desirable.

  • Ideal: NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) qualification.

  • Full UK driving licence.

  • Comfortable working autonomously and within a team.

  • IT literacy for maintaining records and ordering parts.
