A leading technical services provider is seeking a dedicated Field Service Engineer to provide on-site support, maintenance, and repair of equipment nationwide. The successful candidate will perform installations and troubleshooting, as well as train clients on equipment use. Qualifications

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and technically skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing on-site technical support, maintenance, and repair services for our clients' equipment and systems.

This role offers an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, travelling to various locations to ensure optimal operation of our products and solutions. The ideal applicant will possess strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to customer service.

Work Schedule – Monday to Friday with infrequent weekend overtime available

This role is a nationwide “on the road” position, meaning there may be time spent away from home. When working away from home is required, this will be carefully managed to ensure a good work life balance.

Job Overview
  • Conduct installations, repairs, and maintenance of equipment at customer sites
  • Perform troubleshooting and diagnostics to identify issues and implement solutions
  • Provide training to customers on the proper use and maintenance of equipment
  • Document service activities, including service reports and parts usage
  • Collaborate with the engineering and office team to provide feedback on product performance and remedial actions.
Experience Required
  • Electrical engineering qualification (e.g. City & Guilds, HNC or equivalent)
  • Proven experience in field service engineering or a related field
  • Ability to read and interpret technical schematics, wiring diagrams and system manuals
  • Strong electrical knowledge
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
  • Knowledge of HVAC systems and control systems
  • Outstanding communication skills and customer-oriented approach
