  • Control stock of spare parts.
  • Work in challenging hospital environments.

Salary: £30,000 to £33,000 + Vehicle + Overtime + On-Call Allowance + Pension

A key player in the Healthcare Emergency and Nurse Call Systems sector currently has an opening for a Field Service Commissioning Engineer.

Key Duties
  • Service and repair of all systems on site.
  • Preventative Maintenance Inspections.
  • Installation work.
  • System commissioning.
  • Technical assistance by telephone.
  • Participate in an on-call Rota.
  • On-site technical back up to sub-contractors and/or other installation companies.
  • Stock control of spare parts.
  • Be confident and comfortable working in hospitals with challenging environments.
Job Competencies / Key Skills
  • Familiarity with a range of hand tools.
  • Come from an alarm background - Security Alarm, Fire Alarm, Intruder Alarm or Nurse Call systems
  • Familiarity with a range of soldering tools.
  • Knowledge of test equipment to include DVM, oscilloscopes.
  • Ability to work individually or part of a team.
  • Good written and oral communication skills.
  • Well organized and able to prioritize and multitask.
Essential
  • Knowledge of computers.

  • Must be willing to travel.

The role will suit individuals currently working as Field Service Commissioning Engineer, Electronics Engineer, Repair Engineer, Installation Engineer and be living within a commutable distance of Birmingham, Coventry, Wolverhampton, Stafford, Redditch, Bromsgrove, Warwick, Worcester or be willing to relocate.
