Do you have enthusiasm and passion to grow and maintain your own key accounts?

Due to expansion in the team, we have a new opportunity for an ambitious and motivated Field Sales Representative to join our friendly and successful sales team.

Balloo Hire Centres is a leading provider of tool, plant and welfare equipment for businesses and DIY needs in Northern Ireland. Balloo Hire Centres is part of The Briggs Equipment Group and therefore can offer a local solution with corporate level support.

Responsibilities
  • Maintaining and growing existing key accounts
  • Implementing a planned process of visits to existing customers to ensure a high level of customer service is attained.
  • Ensuring customer retention is achieved and developed.
  • Ensuring administration of key accounts is kept up to date and accurate.
  • Liaising with key customer accounts team, to ensure invoices are settled promptly.
  • Identifying possible new areas for sales, establishing, and maintaining relationships with potential clients.
  • Securing stock on behalf of customers and arrange for transportation of same.
  • Developing and maintaining pricing structure for key accounts.
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Managing territory through market intelligence to maximise the use of equipment.
What will help you to excel in this role
  • Sales experience ideally within plant and tool hire, material handling, logistics, warehousing or construction (however not essential)
  • Demonstrable experience of organising and prioritising a demanding workload
  • Ability to engage with customers and have excellent communication skills
  • Willingness to learn new skills and develop with the business.
  • Full clean driving licence
