Field Maintenance Technician – Play & Leisure Equipment

Based in Wrexham Region | UK Travel Required

Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 D.O.E.

Based on a 40 hour week, with time and a half before 6am or anything after 5pm.

Commutable from: North Wales & Surrounding: Chester, Deeside, Mold, Flint, Buckley, Ruthin, Denbigh, Llangollen, Oswestry, Ellesmere Port, Runcorn, Widnes, Northwich, Winsford, Crewe, Nantwich, Sandbach, Middlewich

About the Company

Our well-established client is a leading provider of play and leisure equipment, trusted by venues across the UK. They are now looking to recruit a skilled and motivated Field Maintenance Technician to support the safe and reliable operation of their installations.

The Role

This is a mobile position, with travel across the UK to carry out planned and reactive maintenance on a variety of mechanical, electrical, and structural equipment. You will play a key role in ensuring installations remain safe, compliant, and enjoyable for families and visitors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out scheduled maintenance and inspections on play and leisure equipment
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and structural faults
  • Complete detailed service reports and ensure compliance with safety standards
  • Respond to urgent repair requests when required
  • Work independently on-site and liaise professionally with venue staff
  • Travel across the UK, with occasional overnight stays
About You
  • Previous experience in general maintenance, mechanical/electrical servicing, or facilities engineering
  • A background in the leisure, amusement, or play equipment industry is highly desirable
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently
  • Willingness to travel nationwide with flexibility around working hours
  • Full UK driving licence required
