We have an excellent opportunity for an IT professional to join our thriving IT Team at GLF Schools.
We are looking to recruit a Field IT Technician to work across our schools at GLF. The successful candidate will benefit from the support of our experienced IT teams located throughout Surrey and Oxfordshire and will build links with the Trust IT team and the Service Delivery Manager and Head of Operations. The candidate will provide first- and second-line support in the field, working with a range of systems and users with varying skills and will need to find solutions to issues affecting all aspects of IT. This is a field-based role comprising regular scheduled visits, ad hoc and emergency visits as required to our current and future schools. The successful candidate will need to travel between schools; therefore, a driving licence is essential. Please note that the salary offer has taken into consideration travel costs, and no additional travel expenses will be included.
This is an exciting role with a varied work stream, and we require an intelligent and enthusiastic person who can think outside the box to solve issues independently, but who can also work effectively with our wider IT and school teams. As a part of GLF Schools, you will join a community of staff dedicated to transforming education. With regular progression discussions, there will be a wealth of opportunities for you to grow your career, whether in one of our 43 academies or in our central team.
