Key responsibilities include proactive site surveillance, managing non-conformance, and collaborating with site teams. This role is located in Swindon; relocation is required for applicants not local to Bridgwater. Visa sponsorship may be available for niche expertise.
The role of the Field Engineer is to ensure works are delivered to contract standards through proactive site surveillance, timely reporting of non-conformances, and strong collaboration with site teams. The role involves reviewing contractor performance, verifying inspection records, and identifying quality issues before they impact progress. Mechanical engineering knowledge, welding proficiency, and familiarity with relevant industry standards are essential.
Please note that visa sponsorship is not guaranteed and is assessed on a case‑by‑case basis, depending on role criticality and project needs. Many of our UK projects require high-level security clearance, meaning we can often only consider candidates with an existing, indefinite right to work in the UK. Exceptionally, we may consider visa sponsorship for applicants with niche experience aligned to our core work (e.g. EPR/nuclear new build).
