Job summary

A small water supply company based in Chepstow is seeking an FWT Engineer for a permanent full-time position. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, service, and design of water treatment systems and heat pump systems. Skills required include a full driving licence and basic plumbing, electrical, and construction skills. This role offers a salary of £30,000 to £40,000 depending on experience and skills. Working hours are Monday to Friday, from 8 am to 4:30 pm.

  • Basic experience with computer packages is required.

Responsibilities

  • Install, service, and design water treatment and supply systems.
  • Install, service, and design ground/air source heat pump systems.

FWT Ltd is a small but expanding company within the private water supply and renewable energy sector.

Based between Usk and Chepstow.

An FWT Engineer has a direct customer-facing role which involves:

  • Installation, service and design of water treatment and supply systems
  • Installation, service and design of ground/air source heat pump systems
  • Basic maintenance and service contracts
  • Completion of paperwork and commissioning of systems

Skills required:

  • Full driving licence (towing entitlement is an advantage)
  • Basic plumbing, electrical and construction skills
  • Basic experience with computer packages

Additional skills (not required but would be an advantage):

  • Plumbing and electrical qualifications
  • Experience of customer service and working outdoors
  • Experience of construction industry health and safety practices

Hours:

Full-time - 8am-4.30pm Monday to Friday with ½ an hour lunch break.
