Qualifications

• Minimum NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in a communications/electronics discipline.
• Experience maintaining, repairing or operating communications equipment in the field.
• Strong understanding of radio systems such as VHF and UHF.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, fault find and repair mission critical radio and paging networks.
• Attend customer and radio sites for planned maintenance and reactive fault response.
• Respond to incidents as part of an on-call rota supporting 24/7 infrastructure.

Skills

Experience maintaining communications equipment

Understanding of radio systems (VHF and UHF)

Fault finding in time-sensitive situations

Ability to work independently

Education

NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in communications/electronics
