Job summary

A well-established social housing contractor is seeking a Construction Health & Safety Advisor to provide Safety, Health and Environmental support across refurbishment, planned works, and construction projects in the East and South Midlands. The ideal candidate will conduct site inspections, review Risk Assessments, and deliver SHE training. This permanent, field-based role offers a salary between £47,513 and £50,450, plus benefits such as a car or car allowance of £4,500.

Qualifications

  • Experienced in providing Safety, Health and Environmental support in construction.
  • Knowledge of Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS).
  • Ability to conduct site inspections and audits.

Responsibilities

  • Provide SHE advice and support to operational and site teams.
  • Carry out site inspections, audits and investigations.
  • Review and approve Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS).
  • Support the implementation of safe systems of work.
  • Deliver SHE briefings, toolbox talks and training sessions.
  • Liaise with subcontractors and supply chain partners.
  • Support compliance with ISO.
