Overview

Job Title: Fencing Operative
Location: Eldersfield, near Gloucester
Hourly Rate: £12.21 - £13.00 dependant on experience
Contract Type: Permanent
Working Hours: Monday-Friday 6:45-16:00, with potential for overtime

Responsibilities
  • Work as part of a fencing team on new build developments in the Gloucestershire area, assisting the Fencing Team Leader with duties.
  • Carry out daily checks on equipment to ensure compliance with company health and safety policy documents and procedures.
  • Communicate with suppliers on lead times for materials and represent idverde, promoting a positive company image for yourself and the team.
  • Develop skills and gain experience in a friendly and encouraging environment.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a fencing, landscaping or construction role.
  • A full valid UK manual driving licence and CSCS card are essential.
  • Strong literacy and numeracy skills to complete company documentation.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Experience implementing health & safety policies and procedures with the right attitude to match.
  • Proactive attitude towards problem solving.
  • Physically fit and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • Experience working with equipment like telehandlers within recent work history (desirable).
  • Digger/excavator card (desirable).
  • Soft landscaping/grounds maintenance experience (desirable).
  • Performance management experience (desirable).
