A leading care organisation in Yate seeks a caring Female Support Worker to help enhance the quality of life for individuals. The role involves supporting daily independence, assisting with personal care, and engaging individuals in various activities such as swimming and gardening. Female Support Worker – Bulls Cross Near Stroud GL6 7HU
Pay rate starts at: £12.77 ph + Enhancements. You will be required to have a Manual UK Driving Licence for a minimum of 1 year and be over 21 years old in order to drive the company vehicles.
Shifts are: 8am – 20:30 on a rota Monday to Sunday.

As a support worker with us you'll be helping people to gain more independence in their daily lives, whilst working within a dynamic team to support a fantastic group of people. Our residential service is a welcoming and friendly environment and you can be sure that no two days will be the same. You’ll be enhancing the lives of the people we support by teaching them new life skills, assisting with personal care, encouraging them to access their local communities, socialising and doing activities. Examples of activities include swimming, family home visits, volunteering at a local community farm, gardening, arts and crafts, baking, days out, shopping days, bike rides, sensory sessions and horse riding.
You don’t need prior experience to be a fantastic Support Worker. A passion for enhancing the quality of life for the people we support, a willingness to learn and a caring attitude are key.
