Overview

We are seeking individuals to provide excellent person-centred care and support to tenants with learning disabilities. You will assist and develop the everyday living skills of our service users and support them to enjoy a wide range of activities. In provision of this care, we require warm, motivated and person-centred individuals with a keen interest in providing personalised support to meet individual care plans.

Responsibilities
  • Provide person-centred care and support to tenants with learning disabilities.
  • Assist and develop everyday living skills and support participation in a wide range of activities.
  • Work within positive behaviour support guidelines and local and corporate policies in a dignified manner.
  • Build trusting, friendly rapport with service users at our Whitley Bay service.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience is not essential.
  • Positive and enthusiastic attitude with superb communication skills.
  • Willingness to work within positive behaviour support guidelines and show genuine passion to make a positive difference.
  • Gender is considered to be an occupational requirement. – Equality Act 2010.
