At The Oaks, we create a vibrant, supportive home where individuals with learning disabilities and complex needs can truly thrive. Located in the heart of Malvern, our residential home offers a safe, nurturing environment for 8 adults to live fulfilling and empowered lives.

We’re seeking compassionate and motivated Support Workers to join our close-knit team. If you’re driven by a genuine desire to make a positive impact and help people achieve their goals, this could be the role for you.

This role is exempt under the Equality Act 2010, Schedule 9, Part 1

What You’ll Do

As a valued member of our team, you’ll provide personalised support that promotes independence, wellbeing, and happiness. Your role will include:

  • Providing Personal Care: Assist with daily living activities such as dressing, bathing, and meal support, always respecting individual choice and dignity.
  • Leading Engaging Activities: Organise and participate in a variety of fun and meaningful activities — from creative arts to community outings — encouraging confidence and social connection.
  • Supporting Life Skills: Help individuals build essential skills in cooking, cleaning, and managing their health to foster greater independence.
  • Monitoring Health & Wellbeing: Keep a close eye on physical and emotional health, promptly reporting any changes to ensure everyone remains safe and comfortable.
  • Collaborating as a Team: Work alongside colleagues to develop and deliver tailored care plans that celebrate each person’s unique strengths and aspirations.
