A local support provider in Denbigh seeks a Support Worker to assist individuals with learning disabilities. You will empower clients, help with daily tasks, and provide personal care. Candidates should have patience and strong communication skills. Training is provided, and a driving licence is essential. This role offers competitive pay and various benefits, including annual leave and pension options.
As a Support Worker in Henllan, Denbighshire you’ll help make the everyday remarkable for the people we support. We are dedicated to supporting those with learning disabilities to live a fulfilled and enriched life in the community.
Location: Henllan, Denbighshire
Hours: We have part-time (minimum 20 hours per week) and full-time hours (maximum 35 hours per week). Your shift pattern will include weekends and sleep-ins. Please speak to us about the hours you are looking to do.
Salary: £12.74 per hour; sleep-in shifts £60 per night; travel expenses paid 45p per mile
Contract: Permanent

In this role, you’ll actively support four individuals (two males and two females) who are active and enjoy various activities in the community. Two of the people you’ll be supporting are wheelchair users and require personal care.
As their trusted Support Worker, you’ll empower them to make choices including taking part in structured activities that build confidence and develop new skills. You’ll also offer practical support to help them meet responsibilities like paying bills, maintaining their homes, being good neighbours, and staying connected with friends and family.
