About your role:

This advert aims to inspire more females to pursue engineering apprenticeships!

We aim for all our customers to reach net zero by 2050, and some prefer female engineers in their homes. That’s where you come in. Not your typical engineer? Good. This isn’t your typical energy company or job.

As an apprentice, you’ll learn skills by joining one of our engineering teams — Gas Service & Repair, Heating Installation, or Smart Metering (recruiting in most areas). We offer various entry routes in 2025 and look forward to welcoming new colleagues.

What we’re looking for:

• 4 GCSEs, including Maths & English at grade C/4 or above or equivalent
• A passion for learning a trade, a successful career, and providing excellent customer service
• A full UK driving license with 6 points or less
• Availability for training at UK-wide academies, with accommodation and travel provided if needed

What’s in it for you:

• Starting salaries from £16,053 to £18,564, increasing with progression, up to £45,483 depending on the apprenticeship path
• Salary alignment to a fully skilled engineer or electrician after completing the programme and support
• London Weighting Allowance from £4,160 to £6,240 depending on location
