We're looking for a driven Farm Trader to grow our grain purchasing network, secure forward contracts, and build strong partnerships with farmers nationwide as they look to expand their national network of growers and customers. Focused on a varied portfolio, you'll work with organic, cereals, grass, cover crops and more. If you thrive on autonomy, value genuine relationships, and love being out on farm, this could be your next big move.

What you’ll be doing:
  • Expanding grain and specialist crop contracts and purchasing across your region by increasing contracted area / tonnage.
  • Building long‑term grower relationships that really count by actively identifying business opportunities.
  • Spotting commercial opportunities and feeding market insights back into the team.
  • Negotiating prices, contract terms, and forward agreements.
  • Providing expert on‑farm support with confidence.
  • Helping drive business development and future growth.
You’ll fit right in if you:
  • Have 2+ years in ag sales, grain buying, or farm trading.
  • Understand UK seed and grain markets.
  • Are personable, proactive, and commercially sharp.
  • Build trust easily and enjoy working with farmers.
