Our client is a growing Gloucestershire-based legal practice with offices in Stroud and Gloucester and a history of serving the people of Gloucestershire for over 260 years. They specialise in a broad range of personal and commercial law and are seeking a Family Solicitor.

Position Overview

We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed legal practitioner to join and contribute to the success and growth of the family department. You will handle a caseload of a broad range of family law matters, including:

• Divorce and separation
• Financial remedies
• Private children matters
• Cohabitation disputes

Responsibilities & Requirements

• Qualified Senior Solicitor/Associate with at least 4-5 years of relevant experience advising on family law matters
• Solid knowledge and experience in divorce, finances and private law children work
• Meet with clients, attend court hearings and advocate on their behalf
• Resolution membership or similar accreditation is desirable
• Compassionate and professional approach to sensitive client issues
• Ability and willingness to learn and manage workload in an efficient and organised manner while meeting clients\' demanding requirements
• Understand the industry context and the challenges you face
• Excellent communication skills
