The position involves performing various maintenance tasks including joinery, plastering, plumbing, and electrical work. Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a facilities, maintenance, or similar role is desirable.
  • Good practical knowledge of basic joinery, plastering, plumbing, and electrical work.
  • Understanding of Health & Safety regulations in a facilities environment.

  • A flexible and proactive approach to work.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out basic joinery tasks, including minor repairs and adjustments.
  • Perform basic plastering, such as repairing holes in walls and general surface maintenance.
  • Undertake basic domestic plumbing work, including routine maintenance and small repairs.
  • Complete like-for-like electrical changes, ensuring safety isolation procedures are followed.
  • Support the wider facilities team with general maintenance tasks as required.

Facilities Team Member — Location: OX4 — Hourly rate: £13.18 — Temporary

About the Role

We are currently seeking a proactive and skilled Facilities Team Member to join our client’s team in the OX4 area. This is a temporary role offering an excellent opportunity to work in a hands-on environment, carrying out a variety of maintenance and repair tasks to ensure the smooth running of the site.

Responsibilities
  • Carry out basic joinery tasks, including minor repairs and adjustments.
  • Perform basic plastering, such as repairing holes in walls and general surface maintenance.
  • Undertake basic domestic plumbing work, including routine maintenance and small repairs.
  • Complete like-for-like electrical changes, ensuring safety isolation procedures are followed and accurate records of work are maintained.
  • Adhere to all relevant Health & Safety legislation and company policies at all times.
  • Support the wider facilities team with general maintenance tasks as required.
