The Team

easyJet’s engineering and maintenance team are renowned for their innovative solutions and as part of the team you will have the opportunity to support all aspects of the airline’s maintenance operation delivering the highest standards of Aircraft performance. As a member of the airlines Engineering and Maintenance Team you will be part of the team delivering Europe’s highest technical despatch reliability as recognised by Airbus.

The Role

The Facilities Supervisor is an essential member of the Luton team. You will support the Luton Base Management Team by assisting the station and the team to perform against objectives and deliver a market‑leading line maintenance operation for the airline. You will be responsible for the maintenance, servicing and repair of all equipment and vehicles under your control. Safety is easyJet’s highest priority and as part of your role you will support easyJet’s industry‑leading safety standards.

• Ensure all equipment and vehicles are maintained to manufacturer recommendation for continued and uninterrupted use by the engineering production team
• Maintain accurate and up to date records of all ground equipment and facility maintenance activities
• Liaise effectively with external contractors to support repair and maintenance of the facility and equipment
• Ensure compliance and development of company policy/procedures in accordance with the easyJet manuals and local company and airport procedures
• Ensure compliance with Health and Safety legislation
• Coordinate waste management
• Report daily operational status of the facility and equipment to the Base Manager or Deputy Base Manager
• Identify and propose new processes to ensure continuous improvement and operational excellence
• Carry out other duties as may be reasonably directed by the Luton Base Manager from time to time.

Practicalities

This full-time role will be based in Luton and will be working days, 40 hours per week. The role may require occasional travel between other bases and locations.
