A local government authority in Preston is seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to lead the operational management of core business and ensure compliance with legislative obligations. The ideal candidate will have a degree in a relevant property discipline along with substantial experience in facilities management. This role offers a competitive salary and various benefits including generous leave and a local government pension scheme.
Salary £46,142 – £51,356 per annum | Permanent, Full Time | 37 hours per week | Preston, Lancashire
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a qualified and experienced Facilities Management professional to join the Senior Management Team of the Council's Facilities Management Service. With your expertise in the operational management of buildings, you will support the Principal Facilities Manager (Hard FM) in the management of the FM core business and the associated discharge of corporate landlord responsibilities. You will lead and direct a number of operational teams that provide premises management, security, and technical compliance support functions. You will also utilise your knowledge and skills to ensure effective contract management of outsourced services that support our FM service delivery obligations. In addition, and as part of the Service's Senior Management Team, you will contribute to the strategic direction of the FM Service as a whole.
