Sheffield Girls¿ is looking to appoint an experienced Facilities Manager to take on a pivotal leadership role in a dynamic school environment.

We are seeking a proactive and skilled School Facilities Manager to oversee the management and maintenance of our school estate located in the Broomhill area of Sheffield, ensuring it remains a safe, secure, and efficient space for our students, staff, and visitors.

About the Role

As the School Facilities Manager, you will oversee all aspects of our site operations, ensuring our facilities are secure, well-maintained, and that they remain fully compliant with health and safety standards.

You will be responsible for
  • Site security, premises and grounds management
  • Maintenance of plant and equipment
  • Cleaning operations and enterprise activities
  • The school vehicle fleet
  • Health and safety compliance across the siteSupporting the delivery of capital projects and renovations
  • Contract Monitoring
  • You will lead a team that includes the Operations Supervisor, Senor Facilities Officers, and drivers, who in turn manage the day-to-day operations for the estate.
Qualifications
  • Relevant qualification in Facilities Management (e.g. IWFM Level 4 or equivalent), or a willingness to gain qualification within 6 months
  • Health & Safety Training (e.g. NEBOSH or IOSH)
