Job description
The basics:

Job Title: Fabricator/Welder

Position: Permanent

Location: Chesterfield - near Ashover

Shift: Monday-Friday (7.00am-3.30pm)

Salary: £41,065 + Bonus + Overtime

Bonus: From 6 months onwards = up to 10% of salary, up to £300 production bonus per quarter, up to £60 health and safety bonus per quarter and up to £1500 per annum additional bonus.

Overtime rates: x1.5 Mon-Sat and x2 Sunday

Benefits: Up to 10% pension contribution, x3 salary death in service, Canteen, Uniform, Bonus.

Overview:

Working for a large manufacturing business that have plants across the world, we now require a Fabricator/Welder to join the engineering and maintenance department. You will be tasked to aid the maintenance team in fabricating and welding chutes, guards for machines etc.

The ideal candidate / Fabricator/Welder may have some of the following experiences, however, please note these are only desirable and not essential as all applications will be looked at individually:

  • Time served apprenticeship
  • Educated in a relevant engineering discipline
  • Previous experience fabricating and welding - medium to heavy engineering.
  • Commutable from: Chesterfield, Alfreton, Clay Cross, Mansfield, Buxton and surrounding areas.
