Qualifications

• Ability to work on site and in the shop.
• Full UK Driver's licence required.

Responsibilities

• Perform light and heavy fabrication on mild and stainless steel.
• Conduct MIG and TIG welding tasks.
• Work from engineering drawings and assist in structural steel projects.

Job description

Position: Fabricator / Welders

Location: Bromborough

Hours: Monday to Thursday - 8:00am - 16:30pm
Friday 8:00am - 15.30pm

Salary: £20.00 per hour

JBF Group are looking for an experienced fabricator/welder for our branch based in Bromborough as they are expanding their growing team and have a continuous full order book with a potential to going to a permanent role.

The Role:

• Light and heavy fabrication on mild and stainless steel.
• MIG welding.
• TIG welding.
• Sheet metal work.
• Working on structural steel.
• Working from engineering drawings.
• Marking out, section cutting.
• Working in structural & architectural steel projects.
• Stainless steel and carbon steel pipework.

Requirements:

• City and Guilds/ NVQ Level 3 in Fabrication and Welding.
• Knowledge of light and heavy steel fabrication processes.
• Familiarity with hand and power tools use within fabrication.
• Ability to read engineering drawings.
• Experience with TIG/ MIG / Structural Steel/ Mild Steel.
• Site and shop work required.
• Full UK Drivers licence.
• Available for overtime when required.
