NexGen Consultancy LTD are currently recruiting for a Fabricator Welder to join a well established precision engineering company based in Bristol. Our client is a UK-based engineering company specialising in high-specification fabrication and welding for regulated industries. The business operates to strict quality and safety standards and offers long-term, stable employment.

Role Overview

We are looking for experienced Fabricators / Welders to join our Bristol operation. The role involves producing complex fabricated assemblies to demanding specifications, primarily for defence-sector customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret fabrication and engineering drawings
  • Assemble fabricated structures using hand tools and equipment
  • Carry out MIG/MAG welding to approved procedures
  • Work with weld symbols and quality requirements
  • Operate cranes and carry out safe lifting operations

Candidate Requirements
  • Time-served apprenticeship in fabrication or welding
  • Strong MIG/MAG welding experience
  • Experience working to WPS and quality standards
  • Ability to work independently and reliably
  • Willingness to support apprentices and team members
