Overview

We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/ Tig Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in TIG welding and fabrication, with the ability to work with various materials and tools. This role involves assembling components, fabricating parts, and ensuring high-quality standards are met throughout the production process.

Responsibilities

• Operate welding equipment safely.
• Fabricate and assemble exhaust components according to specifications and drawings.
• Utilise hand tools and power tools for cutting, shaping, and finishing materials.
• Perform quality checks on completed welds and fabricated items to ensure compliance with our standards.
• Maintain a clean and organised work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and resolve any fabrication issues that may arise.

Skills / Qualifications

• Proficient in TIG welding.
• Mechanical knowledge with the ability to read technical drawings and specifications.
• Experience working with tube metal and various fabrication processes.
• Competent in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
• Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks.
• Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• TIG welding: 5 years (required)
• English (required)

Location and Eligibility

Location: Milton Keynes MK19 7ES (preferred). Ability to commute/relocate before starting work (required).
