Primary Teaching Assistant

Tradewind are working with a 'good ' primary school in Leyland who are looking for a level 2 Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full-time basis starting in January on a temp to perm basis. You will be providing general class support with children, working full time 8.(phone number removed) days a week in reception.

They are looking for someone who has previous experience and is familiar with the EYFS framework.

  • Have excellent communication and behaviour management techniques
  • Be confident in dealing with challenging behaviour
  • Excellent interpersonal skills based on effective communication
  • Passion to ensure every child succeeds and reaches their full potential
  • An awareness of their own strengths and areas for development and a willingness to listen to, reflect constructively and ac upon, as appropriate, feedback from others.
  • Be able to confidently work as part of the team and independently.

  • This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
  • Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained
  • You must have the legal right to work in the UK
