A leading education recruitment agency is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to work in a SEND school in Runcorn. The role involves supporting children with Severe Learning Difficulties and providing personal care. Applicants should have experience with SEND and strong de-escalation skills, as well as confidence in handling Education Health Care Plans. This is a long-term position starting mid-January 2026, with a competitive weekly salary of £425 – £475 based on experience. Opportunities for direct employment with partner schools are also available.

Connex Education are looking for a Teaching Assistant to work in a SEND school in Runcorn. This is to cover a long term sickness and will commence mid January 2026.
The school cater for children in Key Stage 1 whose primary need is Severe Learning Difficulties – some students may have further needs such as severe language and commincation needs and Pica. The staff here provide specialised education tailored to each students needs and abilities. The school is well equipped with resources and equipment to ensure students are stimulated, happy and sensory / emotional needs are met.
The school are looking for someone who can commit Monday – Friday, but will also consider part time / job shares for suitable applicants.
