Job summary

A leading educational recruitment agency in Tower Hamlets is seeking an experienced Nursery Teaching Assistant to support children in a Primary school. The ideal candidate should have prior experience in a similar role, particularly working with individuals and small groups. This position requires a good understanding of childhood development and the ability to motivate and encourage students. A strong knowledge of safeguarding and child protection is mandatory. It's a temp-to-perm role with a contract starting ASAP, offering up to £100 a day.

Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant who aspires to be a Teacher?

GSL Education is currently looking for an experienced Nursery Teaching Assistant for one of our client Primary schools in Tower Hamlets. The school is looking for someone who can start immediately and has experience working with individuals and small groups of children.

Responsibilities
  • Work closely with the class teacher in Nursery to motivate and encourage students to reach their full potential.
  • Support children with special educational needs.
  • Provide individual support in small groups to ensure learning is taking place.
Ideal Candidate / Qualifications
  • Have previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant.
  • Support pupils who have special educational needs.
  • Basic understanding of childhood development and steps to support children of various ages.
  • Help pupils increase their confidence and self-esteem by listening to them and devising appropriate strategies.
  • Be able to work as part of a team.
  • Good written and oral skills.
