Qualifications

  • Proven experience in export sales or export management, preferably in food or FMCG.
  • Strong knowledge of export documentation and international trade processes.
  • Comfortable working in a hands-on scale-up environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and grow international export markets and distributors.
  • Manage export customers, pricing, forecasts, and commercial terms.
  • Own export documentation including commercial invoices and health certs.
  • Ensure compliance with destination-country requirements and correct use of INCOTERMS.
  • Coordinate with freight forwarders and logistics partners.
  • Work closely with Technical and Operations teams for on-time deliveries.

The Role

You will own exports end-to-end — from market development and distributor management through to export documentation, logistics coordination, and country-specific compliance. This is a hands-on, commercially driven role in a growing manufacturing business.

Key Responsiblities

  • Develop and grow international export markets and distributors
  • Manage export customers, pricing, forecasts, and commercial terms
  • Own export documentation (commercial invoices, packing lists, COO, health certs)
  • Ensure correct use of INCOTERMS and compliance with destination-country requirements
  • Coordinate with freight forwarders and logistics partners
  • Work closely with Technical and Operations teams to ensure compliant, on-time deliveries

Skills Required

  • Proven experience in export sales or export management (food/FMCG preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of export documentation and international trade processes
  • Commercially minded, detail-oriented, and highly organised
  • Comfortable working in a hands-on scale-up environment
  • Confident managing distributors and international customers
