Overview

Island Windows is experiencing exciting growth, and we're looking to add an experienced Service Engineer to our Service & Repair Team!

As a Service Engineer, you will be the face of our company when visiting customers’ premises to carry out repairs and remedial works as needed. Your vehicle will be stocked with essential tools and parts, allowing you to complete most jobs on-site. In situations where an immediate resolution isn't possible, you’ll provide the customer with a detailed quotation and follow-up as necessary. You’ll work closely with your Service Manager to ensure all paperwork is completed and handed over correctly. We pride ourselves on our excellent customer service, and we need someone who is used to working directly with customers and can always maintain a courteous and professional attitude.

Responsibilities
  • Conducting repairs and remedial works for customers’ UPVC/Aluminium windows, doors, and composite doors.
  • Providing quotations for jobs that cannot be completed immediately.
  • Collaborating with the Service Manager to ensure accurate documentation is completed for all jobs.
  • Communicating any issues or service updates to the Customer Care Manager.
  • Ensuring parts and works are clearly stated and communicated to customers.
What We Are Looking For
  • Experience: At least 2 years of experience in window and door servicing or 5 years window installations or manufacturing.
  • High-Quality Standards: We need Service Engineers who consistently deliver top-quality work, the first time, every time.
  • Customer-Focused: Someone who truly cares about providing exceptional service and customer care.
  • Health & Safety Awareness: Understanding the importance of safety in the workplace and compliance with all health and safety regulations.
  • Reliable: A clean, valid Full UK/EU driving licence is required, and applicants must be at least 25 years of age (to meet insurance requirements).
Working Hours
  • Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Salary
  • Dependent on experience.
