Job summary

A leading educational institution in Chelmsford is seeking a HLTA or Experienced Learning Support Assistant to support students with special needs. The role involves working full-time in a friendly environment, focusing on small group or 1:1 support. Ideal candidates will have experience in educational settings and a passion for helping others. This is a temp to permanent position with training provided.

HLTA / Experienced Learning Support Assistant - required immediately!

If so, a special needs school in Chelmsford are looking for just that!

This school is built around supporting the needs of children with Moderate, Severe and Complex needs.

Role includes

-Working 5 days a week within the school provision, supporting students with MLD and SLD in small groups or on a 1:1 basis to help improve engagement, interaction and raise attainment

-Learning and developing your LSA skills

-Working closely with parents to ensure what is carried out at school is continued at home

-A friendly and positive approach to teaching and learning, as well as the ability to quickly build up strong relationships and rapport with individual children.

This is a full-time, temp to permanent opportunity (8:30am - 3:30pm).

Qualifications

Experience supporting children or adults with special needs is required.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
