JOB BAND: E
CONTRACT TYPE: Permanent, Full-time
DEPARTMENT: Product Group - Account & Identity
LOCATION: London, Cardiff, Glasgow, Salford, Newcastle - Hybrid
PROPOSED SALARY RANGE: Up to £100,000 depending on relevant skills, knowledge and experience. The expected salary range for this role reflects internal benchmarking and external market insights.

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

You will lead the strategy and delivery of identity and access management services through the newly formed Account Platform Group. Working closely with your engineering partner, you will shape our platform first strategy, simplify and modernise our systems, and accelerate time-to-market. You will deliver best in class account experiences for millions, work with cutting edge technologies and foster innovation to drive through audience growth.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND IMPACT
  • Leading and coaching a team of product managers, developing product craft and capability, and supporting resource planning and recruitment.
  • Driving high quality product craft at all stages of the Product Development Lifecycle with an emphasis on outcomes, data informed decision making, experimentation and continuous delivery.
  • Shaping the vision and strategy and driving delivery of an ambitious roadmap that balances technical innovation, business priorities, and operational excellence.
  • Collaborating closely with stakeholders in engineering, architecture, data, marketing, privacy, and product peers across Platforms and Experiences.
  • Ensuring the effective delivery of shared platform services that empower Experience and GTM teams to focus on delivering user-facing value.
  • Evaluating and introducing tools or frameworks that enhance platform capabilities and fostering a strategic approach to build or buy decisions.
  • Ensuring platform services meet the highest security and compliance standards in partnership with legal, privacy and information security teams.
  • Staying abreast of industry trends in accounts and identity access management, cloud computing, machine learning, and other technologies to inform future vision and strategy.
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA

  • Proven experience in product management, particularly with technical products such as SaaS platforms, APIs, or enterprise-level services.
  • Strong leadership skills, with experience managing or mentoring product managers and helping them grow in their careers.
  • Examples of using strong communication skills, including the ability to adapt style for technical or business audiences and create compelling product narratives.
  • Track record of leading complex projects, such as system migrations, digital transformations, or building scalable and reusable solutions—delivered on time and within budget.
  • Data-driven mindset, with experience setting and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs), running user experiments, and using insights to improve product performance.

DESIRED BUT NOT REQUIRED

  • Strong technical acumen and systems thinking, with experience of cloud infrastructure and data platforms.
  • Good domain knowledge of authentication standards and digital identity frameworks such as OAuth, OIDC, VCs, and so on.
  • Experience with marketing and privacy regulations such as GDPR and PECR, data protection and information security best practice.
