The Role

This highly respected London law firm is looking for an experienced Executive Assistant with strong Real Estate experience to provide high‑level administrative and organisational support to fee earn杉. This is a varied and busy role suited to someone who enjoys managing multiple matters simultaneously and takes pride in delivering precise, proactive support. You will play a key role in ensuring property transactions and related matters run smoothly, supporting fee earners from file opening through to completion and closure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Open new matters and carry out conflict checks
  • Draft, prepare and manage property legal documents, including contracts and leases
  • Prepare engrossments and manage document execution via DocuSign
  • Electronically file legal and court documents, including use of CE-File where required
  • Manage diaries, schedule meetings and hearings, and monitor key deadlines
  • Liaise with courts, counsel, agents, and other third parties
  • Support billing processes, including completion statements, WIP monitoring, and invoicing
  • Submit and manage Land Registry applications and SDLT filings
  • Assist with document bundling and transaction packs
  • Provide high-quality audio and copy typing
  • Maintain accurate electronic filing systems and manage calls professionally
Requirements
  • You’ll have a minimum of 3 years’ experience as an EA in a Real Estate or Litigation legal setting.
  • Strong knowledge of property transactions and legal documentation
  • Familiarity with court procedures and electronic filing systems
  • Excellent typing skills (minimum 50 wpm) with a high level of accuracy
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing deadlines
  • Clear, confident communication skills
  • A high level of discretion, professionalism, and attention to detail
  • A proactive, reliable approach and ability to work collaboratively with fee earners.
