Executive Assistant

Location: Remote-first (Quarterly in-person meetings + board meetings)
Salary: Up to 70,000 per annum (DOE)

About the Role

We are seeking an organised, proactive, and discreet Executive Assistant to support the founder of a private investment and family office structure overseeing a diverse portfolio of growing businesses.

This is a unique opportunity to work at the centre of a fast-moving, agile group, liaising with CEOs, senior leadership teams, and board-level stakeholders across multiple entities. The role suits an experienced EA who is confident operating autonomously in a predominantly remote environment and who thrives on responsibility, trust and variety.

Role Overview

The Executive Assistant will provide primary support to the founder, alongside limited diary support for a second senior family office principal. The role spans three key areas:

  • Executive & diary support Stakeholder and CEO coordination
  • Board and meeting support
  • You will act as a trusted gatekeeper, communicator, and organiser, ensuring smooth information flow, excellent time management, and professional engagement.

Key Responsibilities

Executive & Diary Support

  • Full diary management for the founder, including scheduling, prioritisation, and conflict resolution
  • Limited diary support for a secondary principal
  • Arranging travel, restaurants, drivers, and networking-related logistics
  • Handling occasional personal tasks with discretion (e.g. sourcing gifts)

Stakeholder & CEO Coordination

  • Acting as a central point of contact between the founder and CEOs across the portfolio
  • Gathering updates, preparing briefing notes, and tracking actions
  • Ensuring timely follow-up and clear communication across entities

Board & Meeting Support

  • Coordinating board meetings and senior leadership sessions
  • Preparing agendas, papers, summaries, and briefing documents
  • Attending board meetings as required (in person) to take minutes and track actions

Skills & Experience

Essential

  • Minimum 5+ years’ experience supporting senior executives, founders, or principals
  • Experience in private equity, investment, family office, or multi-entity environments
  • Exceptional organisation, prioritisation, and time management skills
  • Confidence engaging with CEOs, board members, and senior stakeholders
  • Strong written communication and note-taking abilities
  • High level of discretion and professionalism
  • Comfortable working remotely and managing your own workload

Desirable

  • Experience supporting board or governance-level activity
  • Exposure to fast-paced, high-accountability environments
  • Degree-level education (not essential with strong EA experience)

Working Pattern

  • Full-time role with standard business hours and flexibility
  • Occasional evening or out-of-hours work depending on business needs
  • Predominantly remote, with quarterly in-person meetings and board attendance as required
