Job description

Highly successful global executive search firm based in central London are recruiting an exceptional corporate Receptionist to join their team. Your role will be pivotal in providing a seamless and welcoming client experience. This is a busy front facing role requiring exceptional interpersonal skills, discretion and a service orientated mind set. You will join a sociable, professional firm and work closely alongside another Receptionist. The role is full time Monday – Friday, hours are 10am – 6:30pm (37.5) hours weekly with an hour for lunch. This role is available to those available on a permanent or temporary to permanent basis. An excellent opportunity joining a thriving client focussed firm with scope to get involved in assisting with overflow EA and events duties.

Key duties
  • Visiting all visitors in a warm, professional manner, seating guests appropriately
  • Liaise with the catering team to order refreshments and ensure meeting rooms are fully stocked, assisting the team during busy periods to clear meeting rooms
  • Answer direct calls via the main switchboard, taking accurate messages
  • Meeting room management, booking video conferencing and liaising with I.T.
  • Received all deliveries, liaising with couriers and taxies
  • Manage supplier invoices
  • Maintain an immaculate reception area at all times
  • Provide assistance to the Executive Assistants during busy periods e.g. travel bookings, expenses, event preparation (training will be provided)
  • Assisting with coordinating events
  • Support onboarding and offboarding activity and training of reception staff
  • Work with the Facilities and Building Management to coordinator facilities, maintenance and security
Ideal candidate
  • 2-5 years previous Reception experience ideally within a fast paced corporate environment
  • Well presented, highly professional and instantly approachable
  • Prides themselves on delivering and impeccable front of house experience with excellent customer services skills
  • Proactive with a team focussed work ethic
  • Educated to A’level standard/equivalent
