Job description

Northern Education Trust (NET) is a charitable education Trust with a good track record for school improvement. The Trust sponsors 29 academies; 16 secondary and 13 primaries across the North of England in twelve Local Authority regions. Dyke House Academy requires a flexible and committed Exam Invigilator to join our team and work under the direct instruction of the Principal/DEEP experience lead/Data and Examinations Officer, to ensure the fair and appropriate conduct of examinations in an environment that enables pupils to perform at their best. The role requires you to support the Data and Examination Officer with the day to day operation of examination venues, assisting with the setting up by laying out stationery, equipment and examination papers in accordance with strict procedures, assisting candidates prior to the start of examinations by directing them to their seats and advising them about possessions permitted in examination venues, and ensuring that candidates cease disruptive behaviour and refrain from talking once inside examination venues.
