Exam Invigilator – Grade B SCP 3-4

We are a very popular and successful Church of England Academy that supports 1,760 pupils. Canon Slade School is part of the Bishop Fraser Trust, a multi‑academy trust established in 2017.

Role type: Casual contract – availability during exam periods. Salary: £24,796 – £25,185 (actual hourly rate £12.85–£13.05 per hour when required during exam periods).

Responsibilities
  • Assist the exams officer in maintaining security and smooth running of exam rooms in accordance with external awarding body requirements.
  • Keep papers and materials secure during and after examinations.
  • Support well‑organised administration systems and processes.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience working with children aged 11–16 in an education setting.
  • Demonstrated personal resilience and a role model for the personal qualities instilled in young people.
  • Willingness and flexibility to meet the demands of the role.
