Position Summary, Responsibilities and Expectations:
Event planning / Project Management
- Organize and set event planning milestones that enable visibility on the progress of execution.
- Tracks and maintains the event loaner pool
- Maintain and track booth assets stored in our EMEA warehouse
- Research on new ideas for product displays, shipping equipment and digital signage for the local market.
- Assists with travel coordination for tradeshows, conferences, and events, as needed.
- Create and keep track of Purchase Orders done for the specific event being executed against the show budget.
- Expectation of 3 days UK office based, unless attending events.
Internal Coordination of events
- Collaborate with the cross BU Marketing team on product signage, design, technical setups, and promotional materials
- Work with your manager to keep stakeholders informed and ensure keeping to the budget and show objectives.
- Assist in the coordination of logistics for tradeshows
Event Execution and Post-show
- Provides onsite support at tradeshows and events, including monitoring deliveries and staff scheduling.
- Will be the coordinator on duty for the staff at the event
- Assist on set up event booth and/or area including tear down with staff members.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- 6+ years work experience
- 3+ years experience in organizing events
- Bachelor’s Degree with a focus on Business or Marketing.
- Experience in PC building, with intermediate understanding of PC components
- Organized yet flexible to different and last minute situations.
- Able to multi-task and work under a fast pace and intense situation.
- Dynamic self-starter who takes initiative, attention to detail and highly reliable
- Team Player, strong communication skills, with interpersonal and follow-up skills.
- Problem solver - Outside of the box thinker that can bring creative ideas and persistent in finding solutions to any situation.
Other requirements:
- Able to lift at least 30lbs
- Is an avid gamer or is a PC gamer enthusiast.
- Creative and always looking for ways to improve.
