Job description

We are looking for an Events Assistant to join a company in the events sector operating globally to produce and deliver international business summits in the sustainability sector.

As an Events Assistant you will:
  • Assist in venue research and shortlisting as well as sourcing related vendors
  • Manage the registration site, process new registrations and generate reports
  • Set up and maintain the networking event platform
  • Liaise with speakers to coordinate logistics and gather information to market them in the run up to the event
  • Support the business development teams by registering delegates and guests
  • Issue invoices and receipts
  • Proofread information and coordinate delegate information
  • Manage speakers and presentations on event days
  • Assist with event delivery including setup, registration, delegate support, and liaison with the venue and technical teams
Skills & experience required:
  • A strong interest in events is essential, ideally with a relevant degree or equivalent and/or previous experience in events administration
  • Experience/ability managing multiple deadlines, projects and contact points
  • Strong communication and organisation skills
  • Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Flexibility to travel internationally and to be flexible with working hours dependent on the needs of various events
Salary, hours and company benefits:
  • 24,000 to 30,000 based on experience
  • Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30pm, office based in Brighton
  • 25 days holiday plus bank holidays plus Birthday off, plus a volunteer day
