Overview

Are you an Estimator with Leadership experience looking to lead technical enquiries, mentor designers and help drive standards in an award winning Construction Company offering Progression into Senior Management?

Role Snapshot / Responsibilities
  • Interpret construction drawings; prepare detailed, competitive technical schedules/quotes.
  • Provide basic calculations to current standards with support from an internal structural team.
  • Issue cost variations for live projects; keep trackers/files accurate.
  • Lead & develop Design Engineers: set expectations, delegate, review performance.
  • Run clear handovers to the project team when orders land.
  • Build customer relationships via calls/emails; attend office/site meetings as required.
  • Deliver product presentations and occasional site-installation training.
  • Champion Health & Safety; maintain quality and compliance in all outputs.
Qualifications
  • Several years' experience in a construction estimating/technical role.
  • Proven leadership and people-management skills.
  • Strong analytical/problem-solving; commercially aware and target-driven.
  • Confident interpreting drawings; sound knowledge of construction processes/standards.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with Bluebeam and AutoCAD.
  • Excellent communication and organisation.
