Estimator or Surveyor / Estimator

Location: Derby

Sector: Commercial Office Fit Out (CAT A & CAT B)

Project Values: £50k - £10m

Status: Immediate Requirement

The Role

You will be responsible for pricing and commercially managing CAT A and CAT B commercial office fit-out projects, from initial tender stage through to final account, working closely with project and delivery teams.

All projects are located within one hour's drive of Derby, offering excellent work-life balance with no national travel.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparing accurate and competitive tenders for commercial fit-out projects
• Reviewing drawings, specifications, and subcontractor packages
• Managing project costs, variations, valuations, and final accounts
• Working closely with delivery teams to ensure commercial success
• Supporting pre-construction and client meetings as required

Experience & Requirements

• Previous experience with a regional build or interior fit-out contractor
• Proven background in commercial office CAT A / CAT B fit-out projects
• Ability to estimate and manage projects commercially
• Knowledge of Conquest estimating software desirable but not essential
• Strong attention to detail and commercial awareness
• Professional, client-facing approach
