Responsibilities for Estimator

• Analyze labor, material, and time requirements for a project
• Estimate costs by looking at the entire project
• Present cost estimates to upper management
• Prepare reports detailing all of the costs going into a project
• Input cost data into company database
• Look at customer requirements for a project
• Work with the sales team to prepare proposals
• Communications with potential customers
• Assisting in scheduling of work and following up with phone calls
• Delegate work to capable crews.

Qualifications for Estimator

• 18 years old minimum
• 2 years of experience working as an estimator
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to put together a professional presentation
• Ability to create reports on costing data
• Amazing analytical and math skills
• Ability to work well on a team
• Very detail oriented
• Deep knowledge of how processes work
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Driven individuals with strong work ethic and attention to detail
• A willingness to learn and grow within an expanding company
• Experience or knowledge in a tree care industry or similar field/education
• Valid Driver's License
• Able to Stand all day and lift up to 50 pounds
• Preferred strong verbal and oral communication skills
• Knowledge of machinery and equipment maintenance
