A respected UK lift and escalator specialist is seeking an Escalator Engineer in Woodthorpe. You will manage your own service route, carrying out maintenance and repairs to ensure escalators run smoothly. The ideal candidate has an NVQ Level 3 in Escalator Engineering and strong communication skills. Escalator Engineer | Midlands | Up to £50k

A respected UK lift and escalator specialist is expanding its engineering team. Known for reliability and strong customer relationships, the company continues to grow across the Midlands.

This role keeps escalators running safely and smoothly across the region. You'll carry out maintenance, repairs and breakdown support while managing your own service route.

What you'll do

• Complete maintenance, breakdowns and repairs
• Manage your service route efficiently
• Complete insurance report tasks
• Identify the correct parts needed for each job
• Fault-finding on mechanical and electrical systems
• Carry out handrail replacements (preferred but not essential)
• Take part in the callout rota

What you'll bring

• NVQ Level 3 in Escalator Engineering or equivalent
• EOR204 Basic Escalator Safety or similar
• A valid driving licence
• Ability to pass a DBS check
• Strong communication skills with clients colleagues
